Oyster Dressing Recipe


Oyster Dressing Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 c of celery; chopped
1 c of onion; chopped
1/2 c of parsley (fresh); chopped
2 Tbsps of oil (or shortening)
1 c of giblets (cooked)
2 c of stock (giblets)
2 c of rice (cooked)
3 c of bread (dry); crumbled
2 c of oysters (with its juice); chopped
Salt and Cayenne (to taste)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. Saute onions, parsley, and celery with oil inside a saucepan till onions become translucent.

Combine stock, giblets, rice, oysters, and bread inside a bowl; mix thoroughly then season salt and cayenne.

Pour onto greased baking glass dish; bake inside preheated oven for forty-five mins or lightly stuff into the turkey cavity.
